Nurtured Music offers piano lessons, Suzuki violin lessons, and Suzuki Early Childhood Education music classes. Nurtured Music upholds the ideals and philosophy of Dr. Suzuki, founder of the Suzuki Method. Parents learn to create a positive learning environment at home that fosters family connections and a love of learning.
The Suzuki Method
Shinichi Suzuki of Japan discovered that children are capable of developing ability in music the same way they learn to speak their native language – through listening, repetition, and a nurturing environment. Dr. Suzuki's approach is often called the mother tongue method or talent education.
